Which site do I go to?
There are many sites that provide factual information about mental health and sometimes it is hard to decide which ones to go to and which aren't providing the best advice or don't have evidence to back up their information. Our research has found these three sites to be reliable and relevant for everyyone in the community.
- Mind Australia website (https://www.mindaustralia.org.au/resources.html)
This website provides information about mental ill-health (e.g. depression, anxiety, eating disorders, schizophrenia…), recovery and wellbeing, families and carers, youth issues and peer work.
- Beyond Blue website (https://www.beyondblue.org.au/the-facts)
This website provides information about anxiety and depression, suicide, self-harm and self-injury, pregnancy and early parenthood. It also gives information on treatment options, recovery and staying well, and who can provide support.
